Although his health situation is a definite area of concern (one that could push him to day three of the draft), Smith has re-established himself as a nice NFL prospect with versatility to play either tackle or guard at the next level.

He’s been playing left guard for the Vols in 2019 and has been cleared by the Tennessee medical staff, so teams will have todo their digging there.

The Falcons used two top picks in 2019 on the offensive line but the re-molding up front is probably not quite done yet.

They could look to free agency to add a veteran starter (or two) up front in the offseason but a guy like Smith seems to offer nice versatility at either left tackle or left guard and he’s shown off first-round skills at times in his college career.

Built like a fridge with power for days, Smith could be a steal for some team who is willing to take a chance on him.
