Scouting Report. Stanford. Paulson Adebo. Pick Analysis. Cornerback. 19. player. 52

The Jags will be big fans of whatever team is playing the Rams that week in hopes that this pick that they received in the Jalen Ramsey trade is as high as possible. Realistically, I think this would be about as good as it gets, but even at 19, the Jags have a chance to land a solid corner to fill the void left by Ramsey in the 2020 NFL Draft that is deep at the position.

Paulson Adebo is a long and physical defender who has incredible ball skills from his days as a receiver. While Adebo is still learning the nuances of the position, the ability is certainly there and the potential is off the charts.

Adebo can quickly change direction to stay with breaking receivers and has the ball instincts to make plays in both man and zone coverage. He can also be an asset in the run game with his physical nature and willingness to tackle.

While he is no Jalen Ramsey, especially at this point in his career as a corner, Adebo has a sky-high ceiling and would benefit from being around a guy like A.J. Bouye. The Jags still have a talented defense and would allow Adebo to ease in as a main contributor while he continues to learn and grow as a defensive back.

87. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. Clemson. 20. Scouting Report. Tee Higgins . player

Whether it is Cam Newton or Kyle Allen under center going forward for the Panthers, they could use a big-bodied receiver like Tee Higgins. D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel are great playmakers who are having very solid seasons, but the Panthers lack a big red zone target. Higgins would be the perfect fit, as the best red zone-type receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft.

At 6’4″ and 200 lb, Higgins can go up and get nearly any ball thrown his direction. While his size and catch radius are his most popular assets, Higgins is a solid route runner who would benefit from having guys like Moore and Samuel on his team to be relied on as more of the shifty playmakers.

After Devin Funchess left for Indy, Greg Olsen is the lone big-bodied target that sees the field. Kyle Allen has been great this year and would likely only get better if he had a tall, sticky-handed receiver to throw the ball up to.
