Wide Receiver. Oklahoma. CeeDee Lamb. player. 52. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 13

The 2020 NFL draft class is one of the best wide receiver classes that we have seen in recent history, and after having one wideout going in the top three, we wait for 10 picks to see another go here at 13 to the Jaguars.

CeeDee Lamb is having an incredible season. In eight games, Lamb has 36 catches for 816 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has been a touchdown machine, scoring on 70-yard bombs and catch-and-run screens from the line of scrimmage.

Lamb is an elite deep-ball receiver with incredible ball skills as a receiver. He can track a ball and then go up and get it like no other in college football. He does not have elite speed, but his quick release, ball tracking, and great hands make him an elite downfield receiver.

Lamb has made some eye-popping grabs that display is super sticky hands. He is shifty in the open field, is a plus blocker and has good sideline awareness. His body allows him to shield defenders on shorter throws and to go up and get jump balls with great body control.

D.J. Chark has emerged as a favorite target for current Jags quarterback, Gardner Minshew. Chark is an incredibly fast deep threat who is coming into his own as a big-bodied receiver in the red zone. Beyond Chark, the Jags have a few average to above average receivers in Keelan Cole, Marqise Lee and Dede Westbrook, but none are at the level of CeeDee Lamb.

A Lamb-Chark combo would provide Minshew or Foles with a pair of very reliable outside targets who will continue to grow and get better the more they have a chance to play and learn. That would be a dynamic duo that defenses would have to gameplan heavily for, taking the attention away from Leonard Fournette who has dealt with loaded boxes his entire career.
