Halfway through the regular season, we look ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft with a one-round mock that includes Jalen Hurts going in the top 15.

Don’t look now, but the NFL regular season is just about halfway over already. Time flies when you’re having fun, right? Before you know it, it will be time for the 2020 NFL Draft, which will be held in Las Vegas.

This draft will be an interesting one, starting at the top with two teams competing for the chance to grab their top choice for a quarterback of the future. Will the 2020 NFL Draft be quarterback top-heavy? Or will a team opt for a defensive player right at the top?

This draft class has a little bit of everything. There are a handful quarterbacks who could go in the first round and a trio of elite running backs that could crack the first as well. There are a plethora of top-notch options at wide receiver including a couple of prospects who could go higher than we have seen in years.

Looking for corners to help cover those elite NFL receivers? There are plenty of great options to go around as well. Want to add some playmakers to your defensive line? You’ll find them in the 2020 NFL Draft. It will be interesting, as always, to see how teams weigh drafting a “position of need” versus taking the best player on the board regardless of position.

The teams in “tank” mode who are loading up on draft picks should certainly have the opportunity to vastly improve their roster with this class. We are still six months away from draft day, April 23-25, 2020, but the 2020 NFL Draft is already grabbing people’s attention. Football fans love the draft and it’s never too early to spotlight some of the top prospects.

Without further ado, let’s dive right into my first mock draft of the season, as the Bengals get things started.

Note: This 2020 NFL draft order was determined by The Draft Network based on the NFL standings following week seven. Please do not yell at me if you are not happy about where your team is picking here. Yell at your team for their performance to this point and encourage them to do better.
