3.  LB De’Vondre Campbell to the Bills for 2020 6th round pick

Another player in the last year of his deal is De’Vondre Campbell, a former 2016 fourth-round draft pick. The Falcons are in a tight cap situation going into the 2020 season and it will be difficult to resign Hooper and Campbell but I think they can swing trades for both of them before the trade deadline.

Campbell is on pace to gain more than 100 tackles this year which would place him better than his previous two seasons where he tallied 94, and 92 tackles respectfully. The problem is he’s on the last year of a rookie contract and Atlanta probably can not afford to resign him. The Bills makes the most sense as they already have one of the best defenses in the league but can add another young linebacker to their core of young players.

The Bills linebacker core consists of veteran Lorenzo Alexander on the weak side, young stars Tremaine Edmunds in the middle, and Matt Milano on the strong side, with the addition of Campbell this would be a perfect match on the weak side as Alexander is 36-year-old and not far from retirement. This sets the Bills young linebacker core up for years to come and I believe Campbell would flourish in Sean McDermott’s defense.
