Pick Analysis. Eason the early QB6. QB. Washington. Jacob Eason. 10. player. 48

Jacob’s top skills: Arm talent, velocity, fearless thrower, pro-style experience

Jacob’s top weaknesses: Too many reckless throws, overall in-game experience

Buccaneers’ OC: Bruce Arians/Byron Leftwich

We know how much Bruce Arians likes to push the ball vertically, and Jacob Eason might be the best quarterback in this class to fit his style of offense.

Eason is a fearless thrower of the football with the velocity to fit the ball into any window, but his confidence can get him into trouble at times and put the offense in a bad spot in that regard.

Eason also has a tendency to put too much velocity behind passes that don’t require it, but he’s showing a lot of signs of being an NFL starter in his first year with Washington after spending the early portion of his career with Georgia.

With Eason’s ability to run play-action and push the ball vertically downfield, he could be the ideal fit for Bruce Arians’ offense in Tampa Bay.
