Third Round

The Jets, of course, need to add weapons on the offensive side of the football, but what’s a quarterback’s best friend defensively?

A good pass rush.

I think we’ll see the Jets put their focus this offseason on pass rushers in free agency, but until that happens (and potentially even if it does) I think it’s fair to keep looking at edge rushers in the 2020 class.

Terrell Lewis would join his former Alabama teammate Quinnen Williams on the Jets’ defensive front and perhaps help atone for their huge whiff on Florida’s Jachai Polite.

At this point in the season, he has six sacks and nine tackle for loss in six games for the Crimson Tide and appears to have really evolved his game as a pass rusher and a finisher off the edge.

The Jets’ defensive interior is so good, the edge rushers should be flourishing.
