First Round

The Jets are currently projected to have the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Obviously, a lot can change between now and next April, but if they wind up with a top five selection again, they have to set their sights on either a top flight left tackle or a playmaker like Jerry Jeudy.

Jeudy, to me, is the best offensive weapon in the entire draft.

Jeudy is one of the most refined playmakers in college football and he’s been showing a constant evolution in his game over the past three seasons.

Not only is Jeudy a tremendous ball tracker deep downfield, he uses his speed and quickness to win in his route stem and beat all kinds of coverage.

Jeudy is also tremendous in space and after the catch. He’s a big play waiting to happen and he’s exactly what the Jets need to jumpstart their offense.

This is the kind of guy you can manufacture touches for, allow the offense to flow through, and rely on to make tough catches at every level of the field.

If he’s available to the Jets in round one, they have to put his name on a card and sprint to the podium.
