Round 1, Pick 8: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma

While Jerry Jeudy has been incredible this season and has earned every bit of the draft hype he’s receiving, I’m not so sure Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb doesn’t deserve to be getting the same attention. This is why I have Lamb going top 10 in this Jaguars 2020 mock draft.

He has been unstoppable ever since he stepped on campus in Norman, as he has now caught 28 touchdowns in just 33 career games. In fact, he has pulled down 10 of those touchdowns on just 28 catches thus far in 2019, which means for every 3 catches he makes, he finds pay dirt. That is an unbelievable rate.

Lamb is a big play waiting to happen and can hurt you in so many ways. He consistently wins off the line of scrimmage, has quick-twitch for a longer receiver, can catch anything that comes in his general direction and, as he proved against Texas last week, he is not easy to bring to the ground. He is as slippery as he is strong and uses that blend of traits to get the most out of every gain.

Pairing Lamb with another talented young receiver in D.J. Chark would give the Jacksonville Jaguars a scary young duo that would help that offense get to the next level.
