New England Patriots: 5 trade targets prior to NFL trade deadline
The New England Patriots should consider making a trade for these five players prior to the 2019 NFL Trade Deadline.
At 6-0, the New England Patriots are sitting pretty atop the AFC. While most of their natural competitors are struggling along, the Patriots are moving forward as clear Super Bowl contenders once again.
This season, the Pats are led by their fantastic defense. They have allowed only eight points per game this season, the fewest in the entire NFL. They have also only given up 234.7 total yards per game, also the fewest in the entire NFL.
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots offense has not been as impressive this season. Their 31.7 total points per game do lead the NFL, but it feels as if the Patriots offense is winning with smoke and mirrors. Injuries and issues on the offensive line and in the wide receiver group are holding this offense back from reaching its full potential.
Brady looks more human than ever before, but if the Patriots can protect him better and find him some more playmaking pass catchers, he should get fully back on track.
The NFL trade deadline is on October 29th, meaning the Patriots only have about two weeks to make a significant improvement from outside the organization. In this post, we are going to take a look at realistic trade targets for the New England Patriots who could help them make another run at a Super Bowl.
