DT. Auburn. Derrick Brown. 842. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 1. player

In a perfect world, the Cardinals would find a stud left tackle in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. However, in this mock draft, Arizona holds the 14th overall pick, where the premier offensive tackles in the class are already off of the board. Instead, the Cardinals go to the defensive side of the ball and bring in Auburn defensive tackle, Derrick Brown.

Brown has a fantastic combination of power and athleticism that will play at the next level. He is extremely quick off of the ball and powerful at the point of attack. Brown is a fantastic run defender who can make plays for himself as a one-gap penetrator and keep offensive linemen off of his linebackers as a two-gap defender.

Simply put, Brown is an incredibly talented player who has massive upside at the next level. The defensive line is a real need position for the Cardinals and Brown could be a real playmaker for the team up front.

Scouting Report. WR. Oklahoma State. Tylan Wallace. 2. 856. Pick Analysis. player

In head coach Kliff Kingsbury‘s offensive system, you can never have too many playmakers at the wide receiver position. The Cardinals are consistently running out there in four-wide receiver sets, and while they have made the position a priority, they could certainly stand to add another talented pass-catcher to the mix.

Tylan Wallace is an extremely talented wide receiver who feels like a massive steal in the middle of the second round. Wallace is a quick and precise route runner who always seems to create separation. He also shows soft hands and great natural body control, snatching the ball out of the air no matter the situation. On top of that, Wallace also shows impressive run after catch ability.

Simply put, Wallace is a dynamic wide receiver prospect who could come in and be a reliable and explosive target for Murray in the passing game. Snagging him here is a no-brainer for the Cardinals.
