Arizona Cardinals 7-round 2020 NFL mock draft: Building around Kyler Murray
How can the Arizona Cardinals build around quarterback Kyler Murray in the 2020 NFL Draft? Find out in this complete seven-round mock draft for the team.
Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray is starting to come around. In Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Murray did most of his damage on the ground, carrying the ball 10 times for 93 yards and one touchdown. This week against the Atlanta Falcons, Murray was dominant through the air, comple73 percent of his passes for 340 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. It was far and away his best game through his short NFL career.
Murray is showing significant improvement each week, but he clearly needs more help. The Cardinals offensive line continues to be a mess and while they have invested into the wide receiver position, injuries have been an issue.
Simply put, the Arizona Cardinals must work to improve Murray’s surroundings next offseason. That includes improving their offensive line situation and finding him more capable pass catchers to work with. Obviously, they have work to do on the defensive side of the ball as well.
The Cardinals would be wise to find value players in free agency, but the draft is where this team needs to look to improve the most. Arizona has a young team that undoubtedly has some upside going forward. Being patient and building this roster properly through the draft is the way to go. In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cardinals simply must find players who can help Murray grow as a quarterback.
How should they attack their needs in the 2020 NFL Draft? Let’s find out in this complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the Arizona Cardinals.
