Ryan Davis, WR, Auburn

Ryan Davis is a tough and shifty slot receiver who had a nice career at Auburn. He is a quick and elusive player who was a four-year contributor for Auburn, finishing his college career in 2018. Davis left Auburn with the program’s career leader in receptions (178).

Chris Davis, CB, Auburn

Chris Davis has never made much of an impact on the defensive side of the ball, but he was a good returner in college. As a senior in 2013, Davis was named a first-team All-American as a return specialist.

Davis is best known for his game-winning touchdown return on a missed field goal to give Auburn the win over Alabama in the 2013 Iron Bowl. The play, which is often referred to as “Kick Six”, has gone down in college football history.

Lance Dunbar, RB, North Texas

Lance Dunbar was a dominant running back in college at North Texas but is best known for being a productive backup for the Dallas Cowboys from 2012-2016. Dunbar was a nice speed back for the Cowboys who could also make plays out of the backfield as a receiver. He kind of just disappeared from the NFL a few years ago and I am interested to see if he can get his career back on track in the XFL.

Eric Dungey, QB, Syracuse

Eric Dungey is an extremely mobile quarterback who can be a lot of fun to watch make plays on the field. He does not have much of an arm, but Dungey does have some accuracy and is a true playmaker with the ball in his hands.

Dungey is currently listed as a member of the Cleveland Browns practice squad and is also listed in the XFL draft pool. I suppose he will have an interesting decision to make this week based on his XFL situation.

Kony Ealy, DE, Missouri

Kony Ealy was once a hot NFL Draft prospect who many considered a possible first-round selection. He ended up going in the second round (60th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft, landing with the Carolina Panthers.

Ealy spent three seasons with the Panthers before bouncing around the league for a few years. He was last in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders in 2018. Ealy was once an extremely interesting player who had a nice combination of athleticism and power. He could be a guy to watch in this version of the XFL.
