30. Pick Analysis. 4. player. Alabama. Jerry Jeudy. Scouting Report. WR

With Sam Darnold back in the lineup, the New York Jets may end up picking high the actual 2020 NFL Draft rolls around. That being said, in this mock draft, they hold the fourth overall pick, putting them in a position to land one of the premier players in this draft class.

Jerry Jeudy is a fantastic wide receiver prospect who should come in and make an immediate contribution at the next level. Jeudy is an advanced route runner who knows how to create space against man and zone coverage. His change of direction quickness is elite and he is deceptively explosive out of his cuts. Jeudy also shows soft hands, impressive body control in the air and a knack for making catches along the sideline.

Once the ball is in his hands, Jeudy is an absolute wizard in open space. He is an incredibly elusive player who consistently makes would-be tacklers look foolish. Jeudy has fantastic short-area quickness and lateral agility that allows him to leave defenders in the dust. He is also an extremely creative player with the ball in his hands who always has the defender guessing.

Landing Jeudy would give the Jets a true number one receiver to pair with Darnold. This is a team that still needs plenty of help in other areas, but adding a player of Jeudy’s caliber to the mix would undoubtedly help them going forward.
