CB. Trevon Diggs. 23. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Alabama. player. 54

The secondary of the Philadelphia Eagles has been an absolute mess this season. In particular, their cornerbacks have been exploited on the outside on a consistent basis. If the Eagles expect to improve on the defensive side of the ball next season, they must make significant improvements to their cornerback situation. Trevon Diggs would not solve all of their issues, but adding would be a step in the right direction.

Diggs is a long, physical and athletic cornerback prospect who excels in press coverage. He is physical at the line of scrimmage, uses his length extremely well in coverage and has the speed to keep up with receivers down the field. Diggs is the kind of marquee cornerback prospect who would make an immediate impact in Philadelphia.

player. 50. DT. 24. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Alabama. Raekwon Davis

In this range of the 2020 NFL Draft, Raekwon Davis feels like a great value selection. Davis is an extremely long and powerful defensive lineman who is going to be a solid starter at the next level. However, Davis is primarily a run defender up front, making his 2020 NFL Draft value relatively limited.

Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia will absolutely be pounding the table for Davis. A big and powerful space-eater who can move a bit, Patricia would be able to get the most out of Davis on the defensive line.

He does have some mobility and can bull rush at an extremely high level, so there is some interior rusher upside here. That being said, Davis really shines as a run defender and will likely be dominant in that area at the next level.
