CB. Stanford. player. 46. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Paulson Adebo. 15

I had a hard time finding the right pick for this Indianapolis Colts in this mock draft. I considered giving them a franchise quarterback to build around, but Jacoby Brissett has earned the opportunity to make the quarterback job his for the long-term. Wide receiver was also under consideration here, but none of the specific receivers seemed like a better fit for the team than Stanford cornerback Paulson Adebo.

Adebo is a big, long and athletic cornerback prospect who shows natural movement skills in coverage. Adebo has good short-area quickness and breaks on the ball extremely well. He is a former wide receiver who is extremely aggressive when attacking the ball in the air and has impressive overall ball skills.

Pick Analysis. 16. 87. Henry Ruggs III. player. Scouting Report. WR. Alabama

No matter who ends up throwing passes for the Carolina Panthers going forward, they could certainly use another receiver to work with. The Panthers’ current wide receiver combination of D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel is explosive, but adding Henry Ruggs III to the mix would take this entire unit to the next level.

Ruggs is the fastest and most explosive player in the 2020 NFL draft class. He pairs elite long speed with ridiculous short-area quickness and lateral agility. This guy gets up to speed quickly, starts and stops on a dime and absolutely flies when he kicks it into top gear.

Ruggs’ speed is obviously ridiculously impressive, but he is also a complete receiver who understands how to work himself open, catches the ball well and consistently makes plays after the catch. Simply put, Ruggs is an incredibly impressive athlete who knows how to play wide receiver. He would undoubtedly be a welcomed addition in Carolina.
