2020 NFL Draft: First-round mock draft includes Joe Burrow in top 12
I strongly considered getting Daniel Jones another target in the passing game here at number 10. However, the 2020 NFL draft class is loaded at the wide receiver position and the New York Giants will be able to find a capable pass-catcher later in the draft if they wish. Instead, the Giants work on the defensive side of the ball here, taking LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton.
The Giants secondary has been an absolute mess this season. They are constantly allowing opposing wide receivers to run free deep down the field and have not been able to do anything about it. The Giants severely lack speed at the cornerback position and have simply not been able to keep any opposing passing attack in check.
Fulton is an impressive man-to-man cover corner who would immediately take their secondary to the next level. He is an extremely fast and athletic cornerback prospect who is quick in short spaces and changes directions on a dime. He has plenty of long speed to keep up down the field shows tremendous natural ball skills.
Fulton is an extremely sticky man-to-man defender who could quickly grow into a lockdown option at the next level. The New York Giants have obvious issues in the secondary and Fulton is a fantastic player who can at least begin to solve them.
Kristian Fulton is an obvious target for the New York Giants in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
