There is not a hotter prospect in all of college football right now than Joe Burrow.

The former Ohio State transfer is absolutely balling for the LSU Tigers right now, throwing 22 touchdown passes in the Tigers’ first five games of the 2019 season and just three interceptions. He’s also got a pair of rushing touchdowns to go along with it.

On Saturday night, Burrow is taking on the Florida Gators, whose stout defense has allowed just six touchdowns all season long, tied for the best number in the SEC (Georgia).

Burrow is not untested at this point. He faced a tough Texas team earlier this year and threw four touchdowns in an LSU victory.

Other than that game, though, Burrow has had a pretty easy go of things as far as the schedule is concerned with his four other matchups coming against Georgia Southern, Northwestern State, Vanderbilt, and Utah State.

This game against the Gators will be a huge test for him and you can rest assured knowing NFL scouts are going to be all over this game as far as the amount of NFL talent on both sides of the ball for both schools.

But as the first-round hype continues to grow for Burrow, it’s abundantly clear that he’s the player to watch in this game and a player under immense pressure in week 7.
