How should the New York Jets attack the 2020 NFL Draft? We go seven rounds deep with this team and try to figure it out.

The 2020 NFL Draft might be the next interesting event for fans of the New York Jets. At 0-4, the Jets are not exactly set up for a deep playoff run this season and while getting Sam Darnold back should help, this team has obvious holes that must be addressed soon.

The Jets have some nice talent to build around on both sides of the ball. The jury is still out on Darnold, but he is undoubtedly a talented quarterback who has the skills to be a franchise guy going forward. On defense, they have Jamal Adams, who is one of the best young safeties in the entire NFL and an impressive front seven that can make life difficult for opposing offenses.

This team is not a complete lost cause, but they still have a long way to go before we can consider them real contenders in the AFC. The 2020 NFL Draft is going to be extremely important for them as they look to build their roster around the key pieces they already have in the fold.

Luckily for the New York Jets, the strengths in the 2020 NFL draft class align with their specific positional needs. Offensive line, edge rusher, cornerback and wide receiver all stand out as obvious needs for this team. All of those positions are also well-represented with talent throughout the 2020 NFL draft class.

How can the New York Jets make the most with what they have to work in the 2020 NFL Draft? Find out in this complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.
