Round 2, No. 33 Overall: Creed Humphrey, IOL, Oklahoma

The Cincinnati Bengals now have their quarterback, and it’s time to improve the offensive line to protect Tua. Right now, the Bengals offensive line is a makeshift one. Their tackles were both signed in free agency, and while Cordy Glenn is serviceable at left tackle, he shouldn’t be a long term solution. The team should get Jonah Williams back in 2020, and he will plug right in somewhere on the offensive line.

The right side of the line is a mess right now, especially at right tackle. Bobby Hart will need to be replaced as soon as possible. When it comes to the center spot, Billy Price really hasn’t panned out for the Bengals so far.

At the top of round two, there really isn’t a tackle with good value on the board. So, here the Bengals look for help on the interior. Creed Humphrey is being talked about as a fringe round one prospect and for good reason.

He is very physical at the point of attack and gets to the second level with ease which will help a ton to get the Bengals run game going with Mixon. He sometimes gives up a little ground in pass protection but he can anchor quickly to stop the rush. Humphrey would be a great addition.
