Miami Dolphins 2020 7-round NFL Mock Draft: Rebuild starts with new QB
Round 6, #160 Overall: Kylin Hill, RB, Mississippi State
The running back group in Miami still lacks some all-around ability, and here’s the perfect spot to grab one. Like the wide receiver class, the running back class for 2020 is very deep. Kylin Hill is very high on some boards, and as a three-down back he makes a ton of sense to add to this Miami Dolphins offense. It’s possible that he could start right away for this team, as long as he can survive in pass protection.
Round 6, #182 Overall: Devin Duvernay, WR, Texas
Adding just one receiver in a class like this is not enough, especially with the lack of talent on the roster. Smith brings a great route runner who can separate with ease. Devin Duvernay, on the other hand, brings an element of speed to the table. He can take screen passes to the house and eat up cushion. Duvernay also has the frame to get yards after the catch.
Round 7, #223 Overall: Zack Baun, EDGE, Wisconsin
The secondary looks good, and the defensive line is getting stronger with this mock draft. You can never have too many pass rushers on the roster, and with former first-round pick Charles Harris not panning out, adding a situational rusher in Zack Baun this late is a good call. Baun has good technique and a strong motor.
