2020 NFL Mock Draft: Four teams land their QB of the future
31. San Francisco 49ers: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida
The San Francisco 49ers have a lot of young talent on their defense, but they are still in need of some help in the secondary.
That’s why I have them taking Florida Gators defensive back C.J. Henderson with the 31st overall pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft.
Henderson is a twitchy corner with the technical ability to play the boundary or inside. His ball skills are evident, as he has nabbed 6 interceptions in just 23 game appearances.
Adding Henderson to the combination of Ahkello Witherspoon and future Hall of Famer, Richard Sherman, will give them some added help that can develop into a starter in time.
32. Kansas City Chiefs: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson
This pick is just too perfect to not predict, so with the final pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Kansas City Chiefs nab Travis Etienne.
The Kansas City Chiefs have done well to get production from their running backs since the departure of Kareem Hunt, but they still need young talent at the position.
Put on the tape of Clemson’s Travis Etienne and he just jumps out as special. He has another gear in his speed that can surprise you at times and his cuts are as precise and abrupt as you could want in a back.
Etienne shows impressive balance and maintains his vision at the point of contact.
With LeSean McCoy’s contract coming to an end and Damien Williams still there to take some of the pressure off of him, Etienne would fit in nicely in Kansas City and would provide them their next great offensive skill player. As if they need more.
He’s an exciting player to cap things off in this 2020 NFL mock draft.
