15. Tennessee Titans: Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia

This is one of those picks that you see everybody predicting, but it just makes too much sense not to go with it yourself.

The Titans are being held back by the mediocre play of Marcus Mariota and it’s time for them to make a change if they’re going to take the next step. They already have a solid foundation on defense, a consistent running game, as well as young wide receivers that have shown a lot of potential. Getting a quarterback that can take advantage of those benefits is key.

Jake Fromm can be that guy. He is a great college quarterback with traits that should translate well in the NFL. He is a smart, accurate, a natural leader and can make all the throws, despite not having the elite arm.

16. Carolina Panthers: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma

The quarterback situation for the Carolina Panthers is one of the more interesting storylines in the NFL, but whoever ends up being the full-time starter between Newton and Allen could use another threat out wide.

CeeDee Lamb would be an outstanding addition to that receiver room, so he lands in Carolina with the 16th overall pick in this 2020 NFL mock draft.

Lamb is as reliable a pass catcher as anybody in this class and he does it in style. He excels at making the difficult catches and does not allow DB’s to gain position on him. He’s long and uses that to his advantage as well.

Adding Lamb to the mix with DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel would give the Panthers an exciting young trio.
