The 2020 NFL Draft is going to be loaded with talent at the top, thanks large in part to the guys Nick Saban is sending up out of Alabama this year.

The 2020 NFL Draft class is looking like it will be absolutely loaded with talent and at critical positions for teams as well.

As I put together this top 32 list, I was excited to be putting so many quarterbacks, edge players, corners, and offensive tackles in among the best prospects in the country right now.

The NFL certainly has a shortage of strong quarterback play and offensive tackle play right now, so an influx of new talent from the college ranks is desperately needed. Although this is certainly subject to change between now and April, here’s how the top 32 prospects currently look from my vantage point, starting with this year’s top five prospects.

2019 stats: 17 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks, 3 forced fumbles

Chase Young has done everything he can to separate himself as the top player in this year’s class. He’s a monster physically and athletically, and has absolutely taken over games.

He looks like the clear top player in this class right now and depending on which team gets the top overall pick, he may be prioritized over this year’s QB crop.

2019 stats: 1,718 yards passing, 76.4 completion percentage, 23 touchdowns, 0 INTs

The southpaw from Hawai’i has been borderline unstoppable since he took Alabama’s starting job in the literal last game of his true freshman season.

After leading the Crimson Tide to a come-from-behind win, it was foretold that Tagovailoa would be a number one overall pick. Two seasons of dominant play later, only Chase Young stands in his way.

Tua has elite arm strength, mobility, pocket awareness, and accuracy with the football. He’s going to be a star in the NFL sooner than later.

2019 stats: 16 tackles, 3 interceptions, 1 forced fumble

Okudah showed flashes of his potential last season for the Buckeyes, but as a junior, he’s taken his game to a complete shutdown level.

His three interceptions in five games this season mark the first three interceptions of his short career, shockingly, and Okudah is equally capable in zone coverage as he is in man coverage.

He’s the type of corner who will be able to take away an entire side of the field.

2019 stats: 38 receptions, 488 yards, 6 touchdowns

With big-time speed and advanced route running abilities, Jeudy is pretty much impossible for college defensive backs to cover.

Combine his skills with the fact that he has two other top 50 players playing receiver alongside him, and he’s been a mismatch now for three years with Alabama.

Jeudy’s ability to get himself open in a wide variety of ways make him an elite prospect at the position, but his speed and elusiveness in the open field really make him special.

Tristan Wirfs’ combination of athleticism and power along with technique at the tackle position make him a no-brainer for NFL teams going forward.

He showed constant progression from his freshman to sophomore years with the Hawkeyes and he’s been absolutely dominant in 2019 playing both the right and left side for the Hawkeyes.
