The trade of Odell Beckham Jr. sort of put the Giants in a weird position at the receiver position.

They went out and paid quite a bit of money to veteran Golden Tate, who was once upon a time one of the best receivers in the game at creating yardage after the catch.

They put Tate with their other top playmakers in the passing game, tight end Evan Engram and slot receiver Sterling Shepard.

Both Engram and Shepard have been excellent so far this season, and we’ll see how Tate factors in, but a player like Tylan Wallace is a tough guy to pass on if he falls to round two of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Oklahoma State star was a finalist last year for the Biletnikoff award, given to the nation’s best receiver. He’s off to a roaring start in 2019 with 628 yards on 28 receptions and six touchdowns in just five games.

He is crafty as a route runner, has exceptional speed, and is a big-play threat every time he touches the ball.
