2020 NFL Draft: AJ Epenesa, Jonathan Taylor lead week 5 watch list
(8) Wisconsin Badgers vs. Northwestern Wildcats
Just like Saquon Barkley (2018) and Ezekiel Elliott (2016) before him, Jonathan Taylor appears poised to be the next Big Ten running back taken in the top 10 of the NFL Draft as some team’s new featured offensive weapon.
Taylor can beat you with power. He can win between the tackles. He wins outside on the perimeter with speed. He has exceptional vision and can’t be tackled one-on-one in the open field.
Taylor is a superstar and it’s time the rest of the country takes notice. He plays with such a great overall balance to his game and really doesn’t have any flaws.
Tyler Biadasz is just a junior, but he has a chance to be one of the top interior linemen off the board in the 2020 NFL Draft if he declares his name early.
A technician at the center position, Biadasz is one of the guys responsible for Jonathan Taylor’s success over the last three seasons and is the guy up front making the calls for the Badgers.
He’s as fleet of foot as he is powerful in his punch, and Biadasz sets the tone every game he plays in.
Plug-and-play starter in the NFL next year if he wants to be.
Big-time playmaker at linebacker at 6-foot-4, 246 pounds who has been filling up the stat sheet since he stepped foot on the field at Northwestern.
He started off his career with two straight seasons of over 110 tackles (111, 116), 14 total tackles for loss, and eight forced fumbles.
He’s up to his usual tricks in 2019 with 22 tackles in three games, a forced fumble, an interception, and three pass breakups.
This year’s inside linebacker class is not great, but Fisher is an outstanding player who should currently be penciled in as a top 100 pick if he declares a year early.
