More fun names to watch

Colorado vs. Air Force (1 PM ET, Pac 12 Network)

Colorado and quarterback Steven Montez are spreading the ball around within their offense. They aren’t going to complain about being 2-0 with a big overtime win against their former top rival Nebraska under their belt, but NFL Draft fanatics want to see Laviska Shenault do more.

Through two games, Shenault has just eight catches for 79 yards. Colorado is trying to get him the ball but perhaps they are trying to force it a little too much.

Penn State vs. Pittsburgh (12 PM ET, ABC)

Said to run in the 4.5 range in the 40-yard dash, Penn State pass rusher Yetur Gross-Matos is probably one of the most interesting players you haven’t heard a lot about.

Through two games this season, the speedy pass rusher has three sacks and three tackles for loss. He racked up 20 tackles for loss and eight sacks last season, so he is well on his way to breaking those marks.

Week three could be a breakout week for the first-round pass rush prospect.

Maryland vs. Temple (12 PM ET, CBSSN)

Don’t blink or you’ll miss young Anthony McFarland in the open field.

This kid is absolutely electric with the ball in his hands and has been one of the best players in the country this season at making guys miss in the open field.

His stock is on the rise because of his elite explosiveness. Through two games, McFarland has 152 yards from scrimmage and a whopping five touchdowns already.
