2020 NFL Draft: First round mock draft as the NFL season begins
16. Baltimore Ravens: Tyler Biadasz, C, Wisconsin
Tyler Biadasz just feels like a perfect fit for the Baltimore Ravens. The Wisconsin product is the best interior offensive line prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft class, showing a fantastic combination of quickness and toughness on the inside.
Biadasz fires off of the ball quickly, shows tremendous technique and consistently dominates at the point of attack. He is a mean and nasty defender who will embarrass opponents at the line of scrimmage, but also shows plenty of quickness to get to the second level. He is also an extremely smart player who easily spots out stunts and blitzes. Simply put, Biadasz would be the perfect center for the Ravens in their power rushing attack.
17. Miami Dolphins: Lucas Niang, OT, TCU
After taking their franchise quarterback earlier in this mock draft, the Dolphins have to work to improve the roster around him. This team has roster needs all over the place, but the offensive line stands out as a particularly terrible group.
Lucas Niang is a massive offensive tackle prospect who has more than enough strength and power to dominate in any situation where he gets his hands on a defender. However, he also moves extremely well for a man of his size. If he can clean up his hand usage and work to become more explosive at the snap, the sky is the limit for him at the next level.
18. Atlanta Falcons: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn
Derrick Brown will likely be the best interior defensive lineman in the 2020 NFL Draft and would be an absolute steal for the Atlanta Falcons in the middle of the first round. He is a tremendous run defender who stands his ground well and uses his combination of length and power to create havoc in the backfield.
Brown is also an impressive penetrating defensive lineman who can make plays behind the line of scrimmage against the run and create consistent pressure on the quarterback. His combination of size, athleticism and power makes him a nightmare to deal with in the middle of the defense.
