2020 NFL Draft: First round mock draft as the NFL season begins
Looking ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft with a complete first-round mock draft.
The 2019 NFL season will kick off on Thursday, so looking ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft may seem a little crazy. Let’s be honest, if you are reading this, you are a little obsessed. We have an NFL Draft itch that has to be scratched, and while mock drafts are ridiculously difficult to predict this early in the process, they are still a good way to get to know the class.
The 2020 NFL Draft class is shaping up to have high-level talent at many key positions. Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert currently lead the way at quarterback and both have the talent to be franchise-changing signal-callers. The quarterback talent in this class is legit, but this class is particularly loaded at wide receiver. There are many gifted receivers in this class who have legitimate top-ten potential.
Defensive back, offensive line and running back stand out as other positions of strength for the 2020 NFL Draft.
In this mock draft, you will learn more about 2020 NFL Draft prospects and specific needs for teams drafting in the first round. Obviously, a lot can change between now and next April, but this is still a fun practice to go through as we look at possible scenarios.
Alright, let’s get to the show. Up first in this first-round 2020 NFL mock draft, the Miami Dolphins.
Note: This mock draft was completed by using The Draft Network’s Mock Draft Machine. The mock draft simulator determined the draft order.
