Miami Dolphins 2020 NFL Draft: Complete seven-round mock draft
The Miami Dolphins are clearly in tank mode, so why not take a look at what they could do in the 2020 NFL Draft?
We knew the Miami Dolphins were rebuilding, but after trading Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills to the Houston Texans, we now know that they are tanking. This team is going to be terrible in 2019 and the 2020 NFL Draft is probably the next relevant date for them on the calendar.
It is obviously too early to start taking mock drafts seriously, let alone one that actually goes seven rounds. The college football season is barely underway and the NFL season has yet to even begin. Obviously, a lot is going to change between now and next April.
That being said, these mock drafts, where we focus on one team, give us a good idea of a potential path for a specific team. The Miami Dolphins are unlikely to be relevant until the 2020 NFL Draft, why not get a jump start on how their rebuild will continue?
The Dolphins will likely have an extremely high pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and after the trade with the Texans, they will also hold two first-round picks. They also currently have two second-round selections. When we add in the projected compensatory picks, the Dolphins will have 12 overall picks in this mock draft, including five in the first 66 selections. Plenty of draft capital to go around in Miami.
Without further ado, here is the complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the Miami Dolphins. Their first pick might surprise you.
