Darrell Williams, OT

The Arizona Cardinals have obvious needs on the offensive line. Protecting Kyler Murray will be their number one priority going forward and they will have an opportunity to add a couple of offensive linemen who could make a difference.

More from NFL Mocks

Darrell Williams was released by the Baltimore Ravens over the weekend, losing a tough position battle at the offensive tackle position. Williams has some NFL experience and could fill a valuable depth role for this team. I would like to see Arizona bring him in as the swing tackle and try to sneak rookie Josh Miles to the practice squad.

Alex Bars, OL

Alex Bars is another interesting offensive lineman who the Cardinals need to consider. Bars suffered a torn ACL and MCL one year ago, but the undrafted rooked worked his way back and had a successful preseason with the Chicago Bears. He showed the ability to have success at both guard and tackle and would be a valuable depth addition to the Cardinals offensive line.

Jachai Polite, EDGE

Jachai Polite was probably the most shocking cut made on Saturday. Polite was drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. He was drafted as a project edge rusher, but the Jets gave up on him after one training camp and preseason slate.

Obviously, this does not look great for Polite, but the Jets completely giving up on him like this is a mistake. He may not have what it takes to be a productive NFL edge rusher, but we simply do not know that for sure yet.

The Arizona Cardinals should take a shot in the dark here. Give Polite a chance to learn and grow from the bench. He undoubtedly has the raw talent to make this a worthy investment.
