How to watch Oregon vs. Auburn CFB: Live Stream, TV channel and more
How to watch Auburn vs. Oregon, college football’s most anticipated game of the weekend, via a live online stream.
The Auburn Tigers and Oregon Ducks will face off in the most interesting game of college football’s opening weekend. Led by Heisman hopeful quarterback Justin Herbert, Oregon enters the season as the 11th ranked team in the nation. They have impact talent on both sides of the ball and could quickly become one of the premier teams in the nation if they can start the season strong with a win against the Tigers.
Auburn begins the season as the 16th ranked team in the nation and is led by an incredibly talented defensive front seven. They are loaded with NFL talent up front who will undoubtedly make life difficult for all opposing offenses this season.
The marquee matchup of the evening will be Oregon’s offensive line against Auburn’s defensive front. Oregon has arguably the best offensive line in the entire nation, showcasing six legitimate NFL draft prospects up front.
There simply is not a better offensive line combination than what the Ducks have in Jake Hanson, Shane Lemieux, Calvin Throckmorton, Penei Sewell, Dallas Warmack and Brady Aiello. However, it is an extremely tough test out of the gate for the Ducks’ offensive line, as they will be looking to keep guys like Derrick Brown, Nick Coe and Marlon Davidson in check. Brown and Coe are particularly impressive players who could give the Ducks consistent fits on Saturday night.
If Oregon is able to protect Herbert, I like their chances to come away with a victory in this game. Herbert is an extremely mobile quarterback who escapes from pressure well, but he will also hurry his throws and get out of rhythm when pressured.
Herbert does not have his number one target from a year ago, Dillon Mitchell, but Penn State transfer Juwan Johnson has a lot of ability and should be able to make an immediate impact for the Ducks. It will be interesting to see if Herbert and Johnson have been able to build much rapport over the offseason.
Five-star dual-threat freshman quarterback Bo Nix will be making his first start for Auburn. He is an incredibly smart and talented quarterback who has shown the ability to make plays with his arm and legs. It will be interesting to see how Nix handles the bright lights of college football. This young man has a chance to quickly put himself on the map on Saturday night.
Oregon’s defensive is not exactly loaded, but they do have some nice pieces on that side of the ball. There is nothing but major question marks up front for the Ducks, but Troy Dye is an extremely athletic and productive linebacker who should be in for a massive senior season. In the secondary, cornerbacks Thomas Graham Jr. and Deommodore Lenoir along with safety Jevon Holland lead a talented unit.
