No. 11 Oregon vs. No. 16 Auburn: Top 2020 NFL Draft prospects to watch
Nick Coe, DL, Auburn
Nick Coe was a solid contributor for Auburn on the defensive line as a freshman in 2017, but he exploded on to the scene last season. In only nine games, Cole finished the year with 13.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks. He played a variety of roles for the Tigers up front, lining up as an interior defensive lineman, defensive end and a rush linebacker.
Coe is a powerful rusher who uses his length well in the pass rush and against the run. He also has solid hand usage and extremely impressive power at the point of attack. I fully expect Coe to have a massive 2019 season and put himself in the first round conversation for the 2020 NFL Draft. Coe will be one of the most interesting players to watch on Saturday night. If he can have a big performance against a loaded Oregon offensive line, he will likely soar up draft boards.
Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn
After taking a look at three Auburn defenders, we finally get to the offensive side of the ball. The Tigers’ most interesting offensive prospect is left tackle Prince Tega Wanogho. At 6-foot-7, 305 pounds, Wanogho has ideal size for an NFL left tackle. He is an athletic offensive lineman who moves well in space and uses his length extremely well in pass protection.
He is an extremely raw player who has some work to do with his technique, but Wanogho has all of the physical tools to catch the attention of NFL scouts this season. Teams love to take a chance on a high upside player like Wanogho, especially at such an important position. If he can show consistent improvement this season, the Auburn product will undoubtedly be in the first-round conversation.
