2020 NFL Draft hopefuls and Utah State quarterback Jordan Love is showing off his top 10 stuff against Wake Forest in one of his biggest games of the year.

Nobody is sleeping on 2020 NFL Draft hopeful and Utah State star quarterback Jordan Love anymore.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound junior out of Bakersfield, CA is coming off of a huge breakout season in which he threw for over 3,500 yards, 32 touchdowns, and just six interceptions.

Generating Heisman hype is going to be tough for Love playing at Utah State, but his reward will more likely come in the form of a potential top 10 NFL Draft status in 2020.

As a matter of fact, a number of analysts already have included them in their top 10, including Dane Brugler of The Athletic.

As Brugler points out, Love’s performance against Wake Forest will hold a lot of weight for NFL evaluators as it is one of just two big games versus power-five conference (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC, Pac 12) teams all season.

The big stage has not been anything Love can’t handle. Look at this ball placement…

There was another brilliant throw by Love in this game as he did everything in his power to put Utah State in position for a victory.

It hasn’t all been great from Love. The guy deserves a chance to make some mistakes without being buried for them, but he did have three interceptions — including one on a possible game-winning or game-tying drive — in this game to go along with his three touchdown passes.

Love has a legitimate shot at being one of the top two quarterbacks selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, especially if he puts good tape out against LSU.

Not that he’s playing with a bunch of hacks at Utah State, but there’s a bit of a discrepancy between Love and the guys he’s playing with as far as NFL talent level. That doesn’t mean those guys can’t do their jobs and help Love out against a big-time program like LSU.

Next. Oregon vs. Auburn prospects to watch. dark

This was a great start to the 2019 season for Love as far as the 2020 NFL Draft is concerned. The hype was not just ‘hype’. This kid is for real and he looks like he is taking his game to the next level.
