2020 NFL mock draft: Buffalo Bills land superstar WR Jerry Jeudy

In a recent 2020 NFL mock draft, the Buffalo Bills fill arguably their biggest need by landing Alabama superstar wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

If Josh Allen can improve as a passer and hit his ceiling, the Buffalo Bills could quickly become legitimate competitors in the AFC. Allen has plenty of talent but needs help if he is going to make the most out of his abilities.

The Bills did a nice job of surrounding Allen with more talent this offseason. They made significant improvements to the offensive line and wide receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley will undoubtedly make an impact. Allen will have more playmakers to get the ball to in 2019 and will likely have more time to operate in the pocket. However, they still have work to do on that side of the ball in order to reach their full offensive potential.

In particular, the Buffalo Bills need a true number one receiver for Allen to work with. They have some nice talent at the wide receiver position, but they lack a true primary target on the outside. Luckily for the Bills, the 2020 NFL Draft is absolutely loaded at wide receiver, and pretty much no matter where they end up picking, they will have a chance to add a legitimate number one receiver into the mix in the first round.

In a recent 2020 NFL mock draft for Draft Wire, Jacob Infante places Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to the Bills at number seven overall. Jeudy is commonly considered the top receiver in a loaded draft class and one of the best overall prospects in the entire class. Adding Jeudy to the mix as they did in this NFL mock draft, would be an ideal scenario for the Bills.

“From his top-tier athleticism to his route running wizardry that would instantly make him one of the league’s best route runners upon being picked, Jeudy may be the best receiver prospect to enter the draft in at least the past five years,” Infante wrote. “His ability to create separation and evade defenders in the open field is second to none in college football.”

Jeudy is a nearly perfect wide receiver prospect who has massive upside at the next level. The Bills need help at the wide receiver position and Jeudy is one of the best prospects at the position in recent memory. Make no mistake about it, this would be an ideal match for both sides.
