Some other notable options

Jordan Love (Junior), Utah State

Love emerged last season as one of everyone’s favorite ‘sleeper’ quarterbacks. The junior passed for 3,567 yards and 32 touchdowns, adding seven rushing touchdowns with just six interceptions.

We’ll see what he does for an encore performance as a junior, but Love has NFL size, athleticism, and physical traits. He is a sleeper first-round candidate for the 2020 NFL Draft.

KJ Costello (Junior), Stanford

Another stellar sophomore from the 2018 season, the now-Junior KJ Costello enters his second full season as Stanford’s starting quarterback with a huge season under his belt.

He completed 65.1 percent of his passes last season with 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

His accuracy is one of his best traits, and Stanford seems to always get guys trained well for the NFL these days.

Nate Stanley (Senior), Iowa

Although erratic with his accuracy at times, Nate Stanley has an absolute cannon for an arm and is entering his third full year as the starter at an Iowa program that is modeled after the New England Patriots.

Stanley’s strong arm and ability to make mostly good decisions with the ball are his best traits at this point. He will have to prove he can consistently operate the Iowa offense and lead them down the field. He should have been way better than he ended up being the past two years.
