Tua Tagovailoa

While I certainly believe that the Indianapolis Colts are talented enough to remain competitive without Andrew Luck this season, there is certainly a scenario where this all falls apart. If the Colts put all of their eggs in the Brissett basket and he struggles, it could easily be a long season for the Colts. If that happens, they could end up having an early pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and quarterback would undoubtedly be on the radar.

Guys like Justin Herbert, Jordan Love, Jake Fromm and Jacob Eason will also likely be in the mix, but we are going to specifically focus on Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as a target for the Colts.

As of now, Tagovailoa is my favorite quarterback in the 2020 NFL draft class. He is an extremely accurate and precise quarterback who can make any throw on the football field. He is a true playmaker who creates yardage with his legs, make plays on the fly and throw a pretty ball on the run.

Tagovailoa is a sharp and consistent passer who is going to have a bright future at the next level. If the Colts find themselves in striking range of Tagovailoa in the 2020 draft, I could certainly see them making him a specific target and bringing him into the mix.

They replaced Peyton Manning with one top-tier quarterback prospect. Now, they make look to do the same with Andrew Luck.
