Which 2020 NFL Draft prospects should we be keeping the closest eye on in the College Football opener between the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes?

It is finally almost time for us to get another look at 2020 NFL Draft prospects. On Saturday, the college football season will begin, with the matchup between the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes as the premier game of the week.

The Gators enter the 2019 season as the eighth-ranked team in the nation and one of the favorites in the SEC East. Last season, Florida went 10-3 on the year and finished tied for seventh in the AP Rankings. They finished the season strong, closing out the regular season with a 41-14 victory over Florida State and a 41-15 Peach Bowl victory over Michigan.

Miami was not as great last season and enters 2019 as an unranked team. They finished last season with a 7-6 record, closing their year with an ugly 35-3 loss to Wisconsin in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. That being said, the ACC Coastal Division should be wide open this season. Miami has a talented squad, and if they catch a few breaks, the Hurricanes could easily compete for a division crown.

While the matchup between Florida and Miami will be interesting on opening weekend, we are more interested in the NFL draft implications. Both teams have interesting 2020 prospects who we need to be keeping a close eye on. In a battle between two talented teams, let’s take a look at the specific prospects who you should be watching.
