With a strong senior season, Auburn offensive tackle Prince Tega Wanogho could become an elite 2020 NFL Draft prospect.

While it is obviously early, the 2020 NFL Draft is shaping up to have a strong crop of offensive linemen. Andrew Thomas and Tristan Wirfs are commonly considered the top offensive tackle prospects in the upcoming draft class, but we have an entire season of games for other players to establish themselves as legitimate top-tier prospects.

Auburn offensive tackle Prince Tega Wanogho stands out as a guy who could rocket up draft boards with a strong 2019 season. If he can continue to grow on the field, the sky is the limit.

Wanogho is a former basketball prospect whose easy athleticism stands out on the offensive line. His long and lean 6-foot-7, 305-pound frame is nearly ideal at the left tackle position and he uses his length well to keep defenders away from his body.

The Auburn product gets out of his stance quickly and moves his feet extremely well in pass protection. He does a fantastic job of mirroring opposing offensive linemen and rarely gets beat once engaged with the defender.

Wanogho does show some pop at the point of attack as a run defender, engaging quickly with a strong punch and good pad level. He is particularly impressive when asked to pull, showing off his obvious athleticism and play speed to reach his assignment on the other side of the field.

Coming to America from Nigeria during high school, Wanogho is an extremely raw player. He never played or even watched football until he came to America and only played in 13 games in high school. He was recruited as a defensive end, but Auburn put some weight on him and grew him into an extremely interesting offensive tackle.

Now, Wanogho is set up to shine in his final season at Auburn. If he can fill out his frame a bit more, it will go a long way towards establishing himself as a top-tier 2020 NFL draft prospect. Wanogho does struggle at times in anchor situations and does not have the ideal power to finish run blocks properly.

If he can add that weight and clean up his game just a bit, NFL scouts are going to be drooling over this kid. Keep an eye on Prince Tega Wanogho. He has elite upside at the next level.
