Preston Williams, WR, Miami Dolphins

Perhaps no rookie has made a more shocking and instant impact on their new roster than former Colorado State wide receiver Preston Williams.

Williams, a former top recruit to Tennessee who got kicked out of school and has had some serious issues off the field with arrests for harassment, tampering, and domestic violence, so let that be known right away so stuff isn’t coming out of the woodwork when Williams is doing this in the regular season.

It should also be noted that Williams pleaded guilty to the harassment charge, but the others were dismissed.

At any rate, Williams played all of last season for Colorado State, and he was phenomenal. As a matter of fact, I wrote up a pre-draft report on him and noted that I felt he had WR1 traits.

His off-field issues resulted in him not being invited to the 2019 scouting combine and ultimately not being drafted whatsoever.

Williams caught four passes and was out there Moss-ing Falcons defensive backs.

He’s been doing this all of training camp, according to the Miami Dolphins reporters I follow on Twitter. As a matter of fact, one reporter was talking about Williams saying it’s no longer a matter of whether or not this guy makes the roster, it’s will he start?
