Keep an eye out for these important rookies in the Hall of Fame game between the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons.

Football is back! Well, sort of. On Thursday night, the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons will kick off the 2019 NFL preseason in the Hall of Fame game. While most of the big names on both teams will not see any action, it will still be great to see NFL players playing actual games.

As with most preseason games, the most important part of tonight is seeing the young players for both sides in action. The preseason slate of games is where the end of roster players get their opportunity to prove themselves worthy of a roster spot.

In particular, we will certainly be keeping an eye on the rookies for both the Broncos and Falcons. Both sides have interesting rookie players who have a great chance of making a significant impact in 2019 and beyond. Whether they were taken in the 2019 NFL Draft or not, these rookies will have to step up and make an impact on the field if they expect to see snaps in 2019.

The Broncos and Falcons are both interesting teams who, with the right breaks, could be legitimately competitive in 2019. However, if that is going to happen, they are going to need production out of their rookie players.

Which young newcomers will step up and make a serious case for the roster on Thursday night? Only time will tell, but we are going to give you the rookie players on both sides of the ball who you should be watching. Up first, the Denver Broncos.
