Kicker

Starter

Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens

Few people in the world have a leg like Justin Tucker. He can make a field goal from a mile away, it seems, and his leg is as accurate as it is strong. Tucker’s career long is a 61 yard field goal. He also has made 90.1% of all his field goal attempts and has only missed one extra point in 242 attempts.

Tucker is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time First Team All-Pro kicker for the Ravens who is not even 30 years old yet.

Honorable Mentions

Phil Dawson, Cleveland Browns

Matt Stover, Baltimore Ravens

Punter

Starter

Don Cockroft, Cleveland Browns

Cocroft served as the punter and kicker for the Browns from 1968 to 1980. He had a very impressive leg no matter how he was kicking the ball and provided a great deal of consistency and longevity for the Browns special teams unit during his career.

Long Snapper

Starter

Charley Hughlett, Cleveland Browns

I could have just had a center serve as the long snapper and not dedicated a roster spot to the position, but that would be insulting to long snappers. Most centers could not serve as a long snapper at a high level. The Browns recently gave Hughlett a contract that made him the highest paid long snapper in the league, so why not add him to the roster.

Return Specialist

Starter

Josh Cribbs, Cleveland Browns

Cribbs is without question one of the greatest returners of all-time. He has eight career kick-off return touchdowns, which is tied for most in NFL history. He also has three punt return TD’s on his resume, and was a great tackler on special teams as well.

Cribbs is a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time First Team All-Pro returner, who could also be utilized on offense at receiver or Wildcat QB with his quarterback experience at Kent State.
