4. Miami Dolphins

Greatest strength: Foundation pieces

Greatest weakness: Proven talent

Looking over the Dolphins’ roster, you might be surprised at how much you actually like.

Depending on what you think of Josh Rosen, or thought of Josh Rosen coming out of UCLA, you might even see this roster as a sleeper roster right now.

I really liked Rosen coming out of UCLA, and I think he could have better/more dynamic receivers in Miami than he had in Arizona. Mike Gesicki could be a really fun weapon for Rosen to get the ball to at the TE spot, and I still have irrational hope DeVante Parker can develop.

Laremy Tunsil is a good foundation piece for an otherwise rough looking offensive line.

Defensively, the Dolphins have some studs at every level. Up front, I love the pickup of Christian Wilkins. In the defensive backfield, the Dolphins really have something with Minkah Fitzpatrick, Reshad Jones, and Xavien Howard.

In the middle of the defense, Kiko Alonso, Raekwon McMillan, and Jerome Baker can all play.

The pieces are there for Brian Flores, but we haven’t seen any of it come together yet. The Dolphins could be a tough out if Rosen develops in year two, but there’s so much unproven here yet.
