27. Seattle Seahawks: Will Hernandez, G, UTEP

Original Pick: Rashaad Penny

Rashaad Penny was probably the single biggest head-scratcher pick of the 2018 Draft. The Seahawks had many other positional needs that could have been addressed and Penny was not widely regarded as a first-round prospect. Penny played okay in 2018 but did not start a game as Chris Carson led the way for the run-dominant Seahawks offense.

In this re-draft, Seattle adds a big mauler in the run game. Will Hernandez was drafted in the second round by the Giants, and played well in 2018, opening holes for fellow rookie Saquon Barkley.

Hernandez would come in and start right away at right guard and add even more strength to the league’s leading rushing offense in terms of yards.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers: Terrell Edmunds, S, Virginia Tech

Original Pick: Terrell Edmunds

Terrell Edmunds was also one of the most questioned picks on draft night in 2018 when the Steelers made the selection. Most people didn’t have a first round grade on him and thought the Steelers may go with a different position.

Edmunds was apparently a guy that the Steelers really wanted and someone that they utilized early and often in their defense. He started 15 of the 16 games he played and ranked second on the team with 78 combined tackles. He also added a sack, an interception, and a fumble recovery.

A true lockdown corner or a playmaking linebacker would be optimal for Pittsburgh, but those guys are off the board, so the Steelers stick with their reliable, playmaking safety.
