25. Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville

Original Pick: Hayden Hurst

The Raven initially traded back into the first round at pick 32 to draft Jackson, but in this re-draft, they take no chances with the picks in between and grab their quarterback at 25.

Jackson started just seven games for the Ravens at quarterback in 2018 but appeared in all 16. Jackson does most of his damage with his legs, ranking second on the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns and first in attempts.

The Ravens traded Joe Flacco this offseason, so clearly they are committed to Jackson as their quarterback and the style of play that comes along with it. The Ravens obviously hope that Jackson will develop as a passer, but are clearly content with being a clearly run-first team. Baltimore won the AFC North last season and hope that Jackson can lead them to a similar record in 2019.

26. Atlanta Falcons: D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland

Original Pick: Calvin Ridley

The Falcons’ pick went very early in this re-draft, so they are forced to go with a different option. Ridley played a big role for the Falcons in 2018 so wide receiver is a clear need for them with this pick.

D.J. Moore was actually selected ahead of Ridley in the 2018 NFL Draft and had a solid rookie season in his own right. Despite only scoring 2 touchdowns, Moore became a favorite target of Cam Newton towards the back end of the season, racking up nearly 800 receiving yards on 82 targets.

Moore is a solid route runner with similar big play ability to Ridley. He could fill that same role in the Falcons offense and likely be about as effective opposite of Julio Jones. Moore also totaled 172 rushing yards on the season, so he brings that little bit of an added dimension to his game that Ridley did not exhibit in 2018.
