How would the 2018 NFL Draft play out differently if it happened today? We re-draft the entire first round, just over one year removed from the 2018 Draft.

We are just one year removed from the 2018 NFL Draft, so it may be a little early to judge the picks made in this draft. However, people desire immediate results, so based on the 2018 season, let’s take a moment to re-evaluate the 2018 NFL Draft.

The 2018 NFL Draft class doesn’t seem to be a particularly loaded or deep one at this point. But there were certainly some steals that were found by multiple teams, particularly in the first couple rounds, who were able to snag players that look like they should have been selected much higher than they were.

Seven rookies were voted to the Pro Bowl last season. Three were in the top six picks, two were in the bottom half of the first round, one was a fifth-round selection, and one went undrafted. One player was a first-team All-Pro selection despite being drafted 17th overall. Another selected 6th overall. The Defensive Rookie of the Year was taken in the second round.

Obviously, these types of players will be making big jumps up the draft board in our this 2018 NFL Draft redo. Just how far will they climb? Which teams will be lucky enough to grab a new cornerstone for their franchise? Let’s go pick-by-pick and see how the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft could unfold if it happened today.
