11. Minnesota Vikings: Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State

Original Pick: Trae Waynes

Ronald Darby was an outstanding player on defense for the Bills, so it should come as no surprise I have him off my board in the first round. Trae Waynes has been productive for the Vikings but Darby is more of a physical defender and playmaker. When comparing both Darby and Williams, their numbers are similar, Darby has 214 tackles and six interceptions while Williams has 189 tackles and six interceptions.

That being said, Darby is a better man-to-man defender and overall defensive playmaker.

12. Cleveland Browns: Grady Jarrett, DT, Clemson

Original Pick:

Grady Jarrett is a solid run-stopper on the defensive line for the Falcons. Originally taken in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by Atlanta, he moves way up on the board.

Jarrett is easily the second-best defensive tackle in this group and he was franchise tagged by the Falcons this past offseason. Jarrett would pair well in the middle with Larry Ogunjobi and Myles Garrett and Olivier Vernon on the defensive end spots. Grady Jarrett would be an improvement over defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson. They both average the same amount of sacks per year but Jarrett is trending upward and Richardson is trending downward at this stage of their careers.

13. New Orleans Saints: Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford

Original Pick: Peat

Andrus Peat has started at LG for New Orleans for the last five years and he’s gotten the job done keeping Drew Brees on his feet and blocking well for the runner in the backfield for the Saints. The Saints lost there star center Max Unger to retirement, so it’s up to Peat to really help the younger guys on the offensive line and I believe he’s New Orleans best lineman.
