Looking ahead to possible team needs for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2020 NFL Draft.

It is going to be incredibly exciting to see what the Arizona Cardinals do going forward. They hired a brilliant offensive mind, Kliff Kingsbury, to be their head coach and put together an impressive haul in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Cardinals tabbed Kyler Murray to be their franchise quarterback and Kingsbury is going to build an exciting high-flying offense around the young signal caller.

The Cardinals were the worst team in the NFL last season, going 3-13 on the year. However, adding Kingsbury and Murray to the mix at least injects some excitement into the mix. If nothing else, the Cardinals are going to be a fun team to watch this season.

That being said, if we are being honest, this roster is not close to being ready to compete. Sure, they have some nice pieces to work with on both sides of the ball, but there are plenty of needs on this roster that must be addressed going forward. Realistically, the Cardinals are looking at 2020 as the earliest they will be ready to compete.

With that in mind, let’s go ahead and look forward. Based on what they have on the roster, which positions will likely stand out as obvious needs for the Arizona Cardinals next offseason? In particular, let’s look at positions that they will likely be looking to fill in the 2020 NFL Draft.
