2. Josh Jacobs, RB, Oakland Raiders

Joshua Jacobs is probably the most obvious rookie who could have immediate fantasy football value. Jacobs was considered by most to be the top running back in the 2019 NFL Draft, was taken in the first round by the Oakland Raiders and has an obvious path to a ton of touches in 2019.

The Raiders took Jacobs with the 24th overall pick in the draft and clearly value his ability to make an impact in the offense. In fact, head coach Jon Gruden has already suggested a heavy workload for Jacobs as a rookie.

"“If you’re listening Josh,” Gruden said in the Raiders’ press conference after the first round of the draft, “I encourage you to get some rest because we’re going to run you a lot. We’re going to give you a great opportunity certainly.”"

That is music to the ears of fantasy football owners everywhere. And Gruden even made those comments before Raiders’ veteran running back Isaiah Crowell went down with a torn Achilles.

Make no mistake about it, Josh Jacobs is going to be the primary running back for the Oakland Raiders in 2019 and he has the skill set to be an elite fantasy back. The Raiders are going to use Jacobs as both a runner and receiver, giving him every opportunity to make a difference for their team as a rookie.

Jacobs will not come cheap (3.09 current ADP), but he is undoubtedly worth the investment.
