3. Los Angeles Chargers: Joey Bosa, EDGE

Original Pick: Bosa

Three picks in and everything has stayed the same. The Los Angeles Chargers took edge rusher Joey Bosa with the third overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Similarly to Wentz, injuries have been a problem for Bosa, but he has been an absolute defensive menace when he has been on the field.

More from NFL Mocks

In 37 career games played, Bosa has 29.5 sacks, 53 quarterback hits and 36 tackles for loss. He was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2016, despite only playing in 12 games for the Chargers and has been voted as a top 100 player in the league in each of the last two seasons (he came in at number 37 last season).

Bosa missed the first four games of his rookie season with a hamstring injury. Last year, he injured his left foot in training camp, had a major set back before the season and ended up not seeing action until Week 11. Bosa was a major impact player for the Chargers down the stretch, but injuries are an issue.

Make no mistake about it, Joey Bosa is one of the best edge rushers in the entire NFL. The injuries are less than ideal, but the Chargers are undoubtedly happy to have him on the roster. In fact, I do not think they would give him up for any other player from the 2016 NFL Draft.
